About

Walk in with a logo design you need some help with – walk out with a fresh perspective.

The Patient

At The Logo Clinic, any number of associates can help you with : typography and font selection, technical details, colours, spacing, general aesthetics, aspects of freelancing, work practices etc. There is no charge or registration required but there may be a small delay between submitting your problem and it being called into a cubicle.

If you have not provided adequate history and background, you may not be seen at all. So please be as descriptive with the logo background, the brief etc as possible. This is the only way an associate can provide any form of help.

For submission details, visit Admissions.

The Associates

The associates are designers like you and me, they are not paid consultants and have no direct link to The Logo Clinic, they are just here on their own dime, offering up their advice. Remember, design is subjective, so take all comments as being of a personal opinion. Some aspects of logo design are technical and are either wrong or right, where this is the case, you will surely be told.

Some associates will be experienced in logo and brand identity and some will be enthusiastic ‘grasshoppers’, each has their place and each will offer different insights into your design. There is typically no real right or wrong, so each comment left needs to be viewed as ‘subjective advice’ rather than ‘do as I say‘.

To all

The original clinic was hosted on Tumblr, but this is now the new home. It will take a while to rebuild up the associates willing to help, so please be patient if your submissions fails to receive much attention. I will personally leave any comments for you that will help kick-start the new clinic.

Please be constructive with the feedback, any rude, negative and vindictive comments will be sterilized and your association with The Logo Clinic terminated.
